Project overview
Food for Thought is a service that sought to enhance its user interface. The product is organized into three main segments: Schools, Restaurants, and Families. My specific role centered on improving the restaurant and catering section of the interface, with a primary focus on refining the dashboard and account information.
Process
I worked on a small team of two, collaborating closely with key stake holders. I conducted a full usability evaluation on the dash to understand potential issues first hand. Competitive analysis, prototyping and testing were also used to quickly ideate and iterate to find the right solution.

Conclusion
& Results
Collaboration has been pivotal throughout this project, engaging key stakeholders to align on evolving scopes and feasibility. With a dedicated emphasis on easy onboarding and usability as the primary touchpoint, subsequent user testing demonstrated a notable increase in usability and comprehension. Testers navigated the updates intuitively, reinforcing our commitment to creating an intuitive and delightful product. Our overarching mission remains clear: To facilitate seamless connections between schools and restaurants, thereby promoting a healthier and improved lunch experience.
Project scope
The primary objective of the dashboard is to provide easy access to the most critical aspects of the product. Past testing results have indicated confusion with the existing dashboard, posing a significant challenge. Addressing this issue is crucial, as a confusing first touchpoint may lead to user frustration and ultimately result in increased bounce rates.
A dashboard evaluation was conducted to better understand the problem space. Competitive analysis also highlighted the need for improved hierarchy and information architecture.
